Who was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended into hell.
The third day He arose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty, whence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting.
I believe that God is Love. I believe the soul is the natural and metaphysical part of man that has the capcity to love, to love God, to know love, to know God, to give love, to recieve love. There is no Love apart from God. Love conquers all. Beloved, let us love one another.
I believe that God deals with every human individually, and thus, every church individually. The same God who put Antarctica and the Amazon on the same planet put the Fundamental Christians and the Liberal Christians and the Charismatic Christians in the same Church. Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and there should be love between the different members of the church who claim His love.
I believe that people who do not acknowledge the reign of Jesus do not need to be argued with, accused, shunned, or hurt in any physical, social or emotional way. Primarily, they need to be loved.
I believe God created the world with words, and I believe words hold meaning and power. Words are the medium God gave us for both our free will and His authoring of history. In His graciousness, He lets us create with our prayers. Without words there is no communication, and without communication there is no knowledge, so there can be no love. You cannot love God without prayer, and you cannot love man without conversation. To be a whole person, you must confess that Christ is Lord, you must love God. |
